Yet another late post this week. Together with Knowawall in New York we just launched George Richmond’s new portfolio site. Noah Wall did a beautiful design on the UI which is almost 100% of the site. It’s simple and intuitive and offers both a next/prev type browsing method as well as a traditional navigation menu. The most difficult part developing the site was the 3D effect in AS2 in addition to syncing up the middle & lower navigations with broadcasting. All in all I think the collaboration went well and the result was great.

Week in Nag’s Head

It’s a bit over due but last month my family and I took a few days off and drove down to the Outer Banks in N.C. for some much, much needed and much over due R&R. This is our first vacation with a decent camera and we got about 400 some random images over the week. I’m still blown away every time I open iPhoto whether I’m setting a narrow depth of field or a fast shutter. I can’t wait until I actually know what I’m doing with it and get some filters or a new lens ![]()
